I think the drives are different sizes. I had a conversation with Paul Reis at MacResQ.com about replacing the DVD-ROM drive with a DVD-R drive. Paul told me that this change requires special brackets. I think MacResQ may be getting ready to sell these brackets. Bill Beecham
