Thank you everyone for your thoughts and ideas.  I'm
glad we're not the only ones (of course, I'm also
sorry that we're not the only ones.)  I do hope Apple
will sort some of this out in a forthcoming iteration
- the sooner the better.

I appreciated the comments about approaching the
developers, managers, etc... of the companies.  I'll
try that with the more important ones.

Thanks.  I'm off to try to get Camino first, then I'll
try Firefox.
