So I gonna reply to myself and share my ideas with the list
Is checked pbfixit.com for parts, here are some problems
-- Heatsinks and the pipes -- The case
The 550 has silver and smaller heatsinks so there is need to put
heatsinks from the 550 to 400 case. Also onyx has cover over the
PCMCIA/Airport cage. I see no problem in that.
400 case - http://www.pbfixit.com/cart/product_image.php?imageid=101
550 case - http://www.pbfixit.com/cart/product_image.php?imageid=776
-- Keyboard mounting to the case
Mercury has the left upper mounting between ESC-F1 then the so
called "screw" between F4-F5 and then the right upper mounting
between F8-F9.

Onyx has the mountin between ESC-F1, then 5 instead of 4 keys,
F5-F6, then again 5 keys instead of 4, F11-F12 (eject)

-- Ports at back
No problem, the only upgrade between these models is processor
speed and Gigabit ethernet. (RJ45 stays at the same place)
