[Ti] Will Apple drop its OS?

Will not happen.  Tevanian leaving had nothing to do with this at all. It
was totally personal and he is taking time off for himself and his family.
The Mac OS is alive and well. Looking forward to Leopard.   Naysayers are
abundant and will grasp at anything to make some point.
