Hmm,
well the short version of all this for me is I hope Apple reduces the 
heat levels in some fashion by the time I buy August end, for while
I appreciate the G4 in so many ways, I am really not considering 
getting another G4 machine, though the thought had tickled my mind a 
few times.

As always there is some good discussion that gives me insight into how 
computers work and the points of contention.
