Actually you need only pick up a copy of Consumer's Reports when they  
test computers (which they do regularly). Apple is invariably right at  
the top when it comes to speed, functionality, display quality and  
build quality. Where they don't quite do as well is in the areas of  
flexibility and expansion. They also tend to be more expensive than  
the PeeCees.
