[X-HW] Switching to Safari and Mail ....

I installed Panther OS 10-3-5 on my 15" Flat Panel G4, and now want to add 
Safari... However I get a Safari Browser bar, but it is Netscape ... How come? 
What am I dueing wrong... Also I want to set up Apple Mail not .Mac mail, and I 
get requests for all sort of things like server name or IPS # and POP or IMAP 
site. I'am an 83yr. old man and can't fiqure it all out ... as the man said 
HELP, HELP.... Please I'm lost .....
