Hello

I am using the 1260 on Jag 10.2.6
Scans to file OK

First of all, in X the "bells and whistles" of OS9 are not available
Buttons on Scanner Panel do not function in X, etc, as delineated  in 
the Manual and on the the Box!

But  Epson does make available update  scanning software compatible for 
X

You need two software downloads from the Epson Web Site, installed in 
the following order

1.  Twain Driver for your version of X

2  Scan To File for your version of X

Go to www.epson.com. Starting from scanners: to 1260 : to drivers for 
X: etc
Go to the downloads for the corresponding version of X and FOLLOW THE 
ON SCREEN DIRECTIONS !
