Not exactly, but in the past when our connection is broken we recycle 
the DSL modem and the router also if you have one. Pacbell DSL 
suggested turning off the computer, then the modem, then the router. 
Wait about a minute. Turn the modem back on and wait until the 
flashing lights stop blinking, then turn on the router, then the 
computer

Also, don't be afraid to call your DSL Tech Support, they often can help.
