[X Newbies] Does cron do its work if the CPU is sleeping

Be careful of those third party apps. Lots of complains about 
Cronmaster and MacJanitor was over a year old. I finally tried Apple's 
instructions on Terminal and they worked like a breeze, I think. Easier 
to do than I expected. "Daily" took 3 minutes approx., "Weekly" took 
maybe 5 minutes, and "Monthly" was done in a flash.

Perhaps this is the simplest way to do the unix clean-ups when it is 
convenient to the user.
