Dear all, I'm trying to connect to the 'Net using a CDMA phone, so far unsuccessfully. I have the cable (CA-42), the phone (Nokia 6585), the cable driver, and the Nokia driver (nokiaCDMAhacked), the ISP account name and the ISP password. In trying to trace where the failure is I ran into a new problem with Internet Connect. 2 problems, actually. 1) It would crash every time I try to open a 'connection log' window. 2) I can't erase an old configuration. I made a copy of it, I can make a new config, but I can't erase this one particular config. I tried switching to my Admin personality, and I CAN open the Connection Log window without the app crashing. I still can't delete this one config, though. So, my question is, how do I fix this? Maybe I just need to delete the Prefs file? Where is the Prefs file? I tried deleting the 'com.apple.internetconfig.plist', 'com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist', com.apple.internetconnect.plist', and 'com.apple.modemmenuextra.plist' Still no connection. Incidentally, every time I try to connect, the Nokia would show the "sending and receiving" window, but then disconnect because "there was no response from the PPP server. Please check your settings." The reason I was trying to delete the config in Internet Config was to start with a clean slate, so to speak, when I ran into the crashing problem. So, any ideas on fixing the 'Internet Connect' app? I'm on a Mac Mini 1.42GHz with Sys X.4. Thanks in advance. Oh, and Happy New Year
