I'm always very surprised to see ANYONE having any trepidation about this. It's not rocket science -- hell, it's not even changing a lightbulb. 1. Repair permissions. 2. Make a bootable backup of your drive to an external drive or other partition. 3. Follow the directions outlined on the Tiger CD. Choose update, archive & install if you'd like a "clean" system with your custom settings, or "erase and install" if you'd like to start all over. 4. After installation, the system will reboot. 5.
