[X-Newbies] IMovie Problem

Could you be more specific?

are you sure you have iLife 4 installed on your laptop and not a newer version?

Have you tried moving the iMovie file to another user and see if you 
have the same problem? the problem might be with your user and not 
your iLife install

from the sounds of it the problem is with your laptop not one of your files.

create a new admin account and install iLife. the problem could be 
with the account you are using. if all else fails track each file 
down and delete them.

It couldn't hurt. a newer version of iMovie will read a file from an 
older version of iMovie with no problems and iLife 06 is a big 
improvement over iLife 4
