[X-Newbies] SingleSignOnTools

Hi all:

Has anyone any idea what  SingleSignOnTools is or does?  It seems to be
constantly polling something in order to connect but I can't see exactly
what is happening

It does produce its own log with the constant msg:

kdcmond cannot retreive the computer's local Hostname , retrying ..

Looking in Activity Monitor kdcmond has a process id of 5975 and runs as root.

Any ideas?
