Could it be that Windows users just have a tendency to be too stupid to 
figure those things out on their own?  8-{D 

I don't know much about networking in Windows, though I know that the Mac 
has, in the past, always been easier to network.

Word is a problem for users on both platforms.  It requires training to 
be able to use effectively, and most folks don't get that training.
