I don't think that is the intention of RSS. You get a summary and then go to the website if you want to read more.

NetNewsWire Lite will display images. I have not used SlashDock, as I did not think that RSS in the Dock would suit me. However, I did try about 4-6 other RSS agregators before I settled on NetNewsWire. Have you tried anything other than SlashDock?
