No. Defragmenting was much more important in the days of HFS and Classic
MacOS and yet Apple never provided a defragmentation tool.

It wasn't until the third revision of OS X that Apple provided the Repair
Permissions ability.

Bottom line: don't rely only on Apple's maintenance utilities, which are
limited in their scope, abilities and existence.
