Thanks Chris, Is there a link to instructions on how to do this? I understand the value of doing this but I don't know how to assign an ip to the printer. THe router has always done this on uts own. I generally use 192.168.1.253. Most routers don't use the whole scope for DHCP either, so this shouldn't be a problem... and some routers use 254 as their address, so I use 253 just in case.
