[P1] blueberry keyboard skips

My wife's blueberry, running 9.2 will occasionally and randomly (every 15-20
keystrokes) not register a key stroke. When you retype it - works just fine.
I've attached an external keyboard - with the same result.

When I reset the power manager (by pulling all power, battery and hold the
reset button for 5 seconds) the problem seems to clear up for a few hours
then slowly reoccurs such that the ole ibook is all but unuseable.

Any ideas??
