[iBook] What do I need to connect iBook to 23" monitor?

I'm shopping for the apple 23" monitor. Before I commit myself, I'd 
like to know if I can connect my 12" 1.2GHz iBook with 768 MB of DDR 
RAM to the monitor. I'd like to run the iBook screen down.

Can I do this?

Is the graphics card on the iBook 1.2GHz capable of handling this?
