[G4] monitor gone yellow

Margaret,
   Unplug your monitor cable from the back of your computer.  Make
sure the pins in the connector aren't dirty, corroded, or bent, then
plug it back in.  If that doesn't fix things, wiggle the cable.  That
should make any intermittent breaks in the cable become apparent.
Beyond that, I'm no television repairman, but I think it would be a
failing power supply in the monitor, or leaking capacitors.  You
probably don't want to tackle those things on your own.  If it were an
LCD, I'd suspect the inverter, but CRTs don't have inverters.
