Re type for FCP HD 4.5

Richard your experience is such a valuable asset on this list - 
especially for relative newbies like us.

The entire project will be given to an HD company in TIFF sequences (at 
24p) to be put onto both 24p and 1080i60 for festivals (hopefully we'll 
get in).  The material originates on 35mm, HD and DV: all shot in 
progressive mode.  The effects are strictly a fade in and fade out 
which we can play around with in Photoshop.

To make sure I understand:
If we use Photoshop text:

1) Take each Bitmap image save as a Targa format then import it 
into/onto each Tiff image.

2) For frames with photoshop text only: Just save them as Tiffs?

We're using some physically sculpted text that will have their own 
frames for the title that we'll be photographing: When we scan the negs 
we should scan them as Targa files or just into Tiffs?
