Have you tried the most obvious, that something has come under the key? 
:-) Stand the Keyboard upright on its short side and pat on the other 
side. I'm constantly surprised about how much small particles that will 
hide under the keys and will gather on the table when cleaning the 
keyboard one way or the other.
