technical changes in Tiger:

Although its a bit long, it contains a lot of information on what's new 
in Tiger, including under the hood improvements.  There's a lot of good 
new stuff in Tiger, for sure, but the review does not fail to point out 
some problems, and even some "features" which the author (and many 
others, including myself) consider drawbacks.
