Roger, Unfortunately, network providers in the US (at least AT&T and T-Mobile) don't do this in their shops. I went to a third-party who plugged a serial cable from a PC to my T68m and ran some Windows software to upgrade my handset to the latest T68i software. It took about 20 minutes. I understand European providers (and customers) are more attuned to this sort of thing, so I wouldn't be surprised if an Orange shop can do it for you. One difference between a flashed T68 and a "real" T68i (other than cosmetics) is that the T68 still can only apportion a set amount of memory to each different function, while a T68i can take advantage of all the phone's memory, not limiting any one function to its own allocated space.
