[BTM] Do Apple Keyboards and Mice work on start-up question

Thanks Stephen, clears up things a bit. I do have further questions then
though...

At what point does BT become active in the boot process? Would one be able
to use the keyboard and mouse with an open firmware password protection
set-up?
