Trans Intl. released a new $429 60 GB/7200 RPM configuration in its 
Ultra Compact Portable FireWire drive line, using the Hitachi-IBM 
Travelstar 7K60 2.5-inch, 7200 RPM mechanism, which includes an 8 MB 
cache and 10 ms average seek time. The bare drive is also available for 
$349.
