Yes, it is a problem.  It is entirely inappropriate:  has nothing
to do with this list's topic, no one can give anything "permission"
to post anything everywhere, it's full of bogus emotion, and (if
true, which a lot of these kind of things aren't) gives special
privilege to this one person over the thousands of other people
who lost their dogs at about the same time.  Very bad netiquette.
And if you sent the msg as a troll, shame on you.
