[iBook] does ibook have a task manager? - recovering crashed ibook

Thanks a lot! I can boot via extensions off, i removed yahoo, it seems
better but crashes again like when I try to open sherlock... I will try and
remove all programs.

Last question, if I recover with boot cd, will it format all my data on
harddisk, or will just re-install operation system? (i will try now botting
from cd with second way, with the first way, mac try to boot from cd, but
current os is opening, and it opens a window including some options.)
