Can any one throw light on this problem? My cube is 450 mhz with 1.25mb ram and 8.2gb space on the hd It was running with OS 9.2.1 and OS 10.1.1 It is not connected to the internet. I bought a used boxed copy of OS 10.3.2 retail set from e bay which looks fine and not battered about. My intention was to load the 10.3.2 onto the cube to upgrade the 10.1.1 and give me a fighting chance of internet access. The upgrade ran fine and the 10.3 worked after the installation was completed. After shutting down and attempting to restart the cube the next day I got a message saying:- 'Welcome to Open Firmware, the system time is 08.36.28 - 12/24/2008 (which was the correct time) To continue booting type "mac-boot" and press return. To shut down type "shut-down" and press return." If I tried mac-boot I got a grey striped screen. If I tried shut-down it did. I have reloaded the 10.3.2 twice now and had no changes. In accordance with the installation instructions I have inserted the OS 9 disc and held down 'C' at start up and have selected the start up disc as OS 10.3 but the same thing happens. If I select OS 9 it all seems to boot up OK. Any suggestions on what to do to get the OS10.3 booting up? Peter W -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
